Meet Attorney Jessica Kordas

Jessica A. Kordas, Attorney at Skiber Law, is a dynamic, compassionate and accomplished litigator who fights tirelessly to achieve justice for her clients. She knows that Juries and Insurance Companies must be made to feel compassion and understanding to command a victory in Personal Injury matters. Attorney Kordas authentically desires to listen, learn and understand every client’s unique experience and goals so that she can curate the narration of your story into winning legal arguments. A skilled negotiator relies on her capacity and willingness to take a case to trial to demand accountability from defendants. 

Passion for People Leads to the Law

Attorney Kordas is no stranger to hard work. Graduating high school early, she began her career at a global media firm. Her unique business background includes roles at prominent hedge funds, the reorganization and management of medical facilities, complex trade agreement negotiations and securities compliance. Fueled by a deep rooted and unfulfilled desire to help people, she completed her undergraduate and legal education in the evening over several years. She now harnesses her acquired business perspective with the precision of a battle tested attorney to be the voice clients need. These skills make for a powerful arsenal for Skiber Law clients. 

Attorney Kordas is a Norwalk native (Go Senators!) and a mother of two school aged children. Her experience as a mother has encouraged her to be deliberately curious during conversations with clients. 

Kordas earned her Bachelors in General Studies with a focus on Law and Society from the University of Connecticut. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Her dedication to excellence extends beyond her formal education into her ongoing professional development.

Licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York and the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York, Attorney Kordas has had the benefit of appearing in many courts across jurisdictions. This variety has provided a wealth of experience to draw upon regardless of the opponent, meaning she is always prepared for even the toughest adversary.  In her free time, having grown up in Norwalk CT, Attorney Kordas merges her love for the practice of law with her desire to give back to the communities that have given her so much.
